 The ULTIMATE Paramotor!!! This is the price is no object safest, best quality, highest performance, most durable and best backed paramotor on the market.  As the largest distributor in the US we carry pretty much all of the top brands so we certainly have lower priced units but this is the top of the line.  Zero deaths have ever happened on Flat Top paramotors, most of the top pilots in the USA fly the Flat Top, including all of the elite Team RedBull pilots, for safety and performance reasons and only one injury has ever been reported.  That was a Team RedBull pilot doing what they best and still insane stunts turned into a mere injury from which he recovered.

If you want absolutely the safest, highest quality, most durable and best performing backpack aircraft on the market then this is the one.

The Flat Top paramotor is legendary.  It sets the standard for reliability, durability and safety as well as for incredible performance in the lightest weight package in its class.

The safety of the Flat Top and its safety record is unmatched.  People have stalled, spun and crashed into the ground in numerous ways and walked away completely uninjured on Flat Top paramotors.  Similar scenarios on our other brands have resulted in many serious injuries & deaths.  One of the great things about paramotoring is that with a certified paraglider, even in a full stall your decent rate is only about 20fps depending on the glider.  That’s about like jumping off your garage roof.  Now if you jump off your garage roof and land flat on your butt you are going to break your back or die.  If however you jump off your garage roof and have over 16 inches of crumple zone below you to absorb impact it is a very non life threatening scenario.  Notice the seat position of the Flat Top paramotor.  Then note that when hanging from the paraglider you are in a slightly reclined position.  That provides over 18 inches of impact protection which is more than an off road race truck, dirt bike or racing ATV have.  This is why when people totally screw up on a Flat Top paramotor they don’t die.  Obviously you can kill yourself doing anything but to date none of the people that have stalled or spun into the ground on Flat Top paramotors have been injured in any way.  They simply walked away unharmed!! When looking at our other brands it is good to notice the seat position.  If your butt is the lowest part on a paramotor or they have floppy bars that allow the harness to easily contact the ground then you can imagine what will happen if you have a serious oops.  Crumple zone.  It is extremely important.

The next biggest cause of death is drowning.  Again the Flat Top has address this by making the unit with a quick release harness.  In several real world scenarios where pilots have gone in the water with the Flat Top, it not only floats but the quick release harness allows you to get out of your harness in less than a second.  The quick release harness is also very nice as it makes getting into and out of the unit just that much easier.  Like the bucket seat in a car though if your seatbelt is undone you don’t fall out of the car.  Same with the Flat Top.  In flight you are sitting back into the seat so even if you were accidentally to open the harness, which has never happened, you don’t fall out as the seat is still under you.

Prop injuries to body parts, hands, arms, fingers… have plagued older units.  The Flat Top eliminated this issue and has not had one single reported incident of any injury of this type since its inception.  The extremely durable cage is lined with Kevlar netting riveted to its surface.  Not only does the Kevlar prevent you from flexing into the propeller even if you stand on it but it also drastically increases the strength of the cage just like spokes in a bicycle wheel.  A bicycle rim can easily be bent with one hand.  Add spokes and you can take that same wheel over 10 ft jumps.  That Kevlar netting makes an incredible difference in both safety and durability by preventing the pilot from hitting the prop and the prop from hitting the cage.  Trip and fall down with other units and they will likely explode as the cage flexes back into the prop.  The Flat Top is so durable it makes it much safer and more fun to learn on and fly as the odds of a slip totaling the unit are almost non existent.

Flat Top 200

$ 7245 USD

 The Flat Top 200 weighs only 65 lbs but has a mind boggling 196 lbs of thrust!!! This unit will carry well over 500 lbs of payload!!! That means a 200 lb pilot can take a 300 lb passenger TANDEM!! The Flat Top 200 is like the bulletbike of the sky but also tied for second quietest in a test performed by its competitors at the Salton Sea fly in.

Flat Top Ninja

The 2011 Flat Top Ninja is the shiznit!! It is only 54 lbs but has crazy insane power that matches the climb rate of the EVO, SUPER and Rotron!!! The Ninja is 11 lbs lighter than the Flat Top SUPER, 14 lbs lighter than the Flat Top EVO and 35 lbs LIGHTER than our Parajet Rotron but with a similar climb rate!!!! The 2011 Flat Top Ninja with the new Vittorazi Moster engine is the biggest advancement in the history of paramotors since the Flat Top itself.  The second we started testing this motor we immediately hushed all information on it until we could confirm it’s reliability because we instantly knew it would make all other paramotors obsolete.  Not only has it passed our extreme reliability tests but it has set an all new benchmark for fiddle free flying without maintainence.  We didn’t even tighten the belt on this unit until hour 31!!! These units will even come with our special tuning ready to go so you don’t even have to TUNE IT!! Just put gas in it and go fly!!!

Power to weight ratio is absolutely owned by the Flat Top Ninja and on top of that the new Vittorazi Moster engine is incredibly smooth with so little torque steer one can easily do full power climb outs in a straight line with no input on the controls.  Quiet is also owned by the Ninja.  Silent and deadly to all competitors makes the Ninja nametag fit to perfection.  The only thing we didn’t find to exceed all other paramotors was the fuel economy where it only matched that of the Flat Top 200.  The new 2011 Flat Top Ninja is without question the new standard all other paramotors will be judged by in the years to come.

Flat Top 120

Flat Top 120!! At 47 lbs with 130 lbs of thrust and boasting the lowest noise level on the market, even quieter than the all electric Flat Top; the new 120 makes for an incredible unit.  The lightweight and more moderate thrust makes it a great unit to learn on.  Also since all Flat Top power plants fit on the exact same frame you could start with a 120 and then when you are ready for crazy power or tandem flight you could just add a larger power plant without having to purchase a whole new unit.  Upgradeable!!! Once again brilliant innovation from the Flat Top crew.  Great price, great performance and as always unmatched Flat Top safety & durability

Here are some of the major reasons the top pilots in the US all fly the Flat Top.  Safety is huge, with the kevlar netting it offers the maximum protection to keep you out of the prop.  Numerous people have been chopped up on other brands after getting into their own prop.  The Flat Top is currently the only unit on the market to really address that safety issue affectively.  With the strongest but lightest cage design and kevlar netting that doesn’t stretch you won’t end up in the hospital missing a hand from a simple fall or forward launch.  Next is the crumple zone on the Flat Top.  With 16 inches of crumple zone under the pilots butt it is designed to safety absorb even a full stall into the ground.  One of the great things about certified paragliders is that even in a stall they only fall about 20 feet per second.  That’s about like jumping from a one story house roof.  If you were to land on your butt without protection you would very likely be injured or killed just as many have on other brands of paramotors.  With the Flat Top though imagine jumping off a house roof but landing on an aluminum lawn chair.  The Flat Top crushes to absorb the impact.  Zero serious injuries or deaths have ever occured on a Flat Top and it certianly isn’t for a lack of trying.  We all do stupid stuff from time to time and it is really nice to know your equipment is designed to save your butt.  Literally.

Durability is huge.  Pretty much every other unit on the market will self destruct if you fall down.  Most units take as little as 2-3 lbs of pressure to flex the cage & netting into the prop so when you fall down the cage flexes back into the prop and the whole thing explodes on top of you.  The Flat Top is incredibly strong.  You can see from the videos that you can fall down and do all sorts of crazy things on the Flat Top and still be ready to fly.  It is no fun to take a minor slip and have it cost you a boatload of time and money.  To date only 1 prop strike has ever been reported on a Flat Top.  That is 1 total for all Flat Tops on the market and only after being attached to an outdated trike design that flipped over in a crash.  With units other than the Flat Top the average is that in your first year of learning to fly you will get prop strikes 2-3 times.  That is a ton of money in parts and lots of time not flying while waiting to repair your unit.  The Flat Top is over 100 times stronger than many other units and it makes a huge difference.

Performance bows to the Flat Top.  It is by far the most powerful unit on the market while also being the quietest and lightest in it’s class.  You can see from the thrust tests and noise test done by our competitors that the Flat Top is the best.  Now since that test where it tied for second quietest we have actually improved the thrust while reducing the noise so it is now officially the quietest paramotor on the market and even farther ahead than everything else in power.  Plus with our new Flat Top Evo… lol, the power of the Flat Top is so far beyond anything else it makes all competitors look like child’s toys.

Facts are facts and very easy to verify.  Many people claim many things so feel free to verify any of this.  With a simple thrust tester you can compare actual thrust, with an inexpensive Db meter you can prove noise levels.  An easy way to check durability is with the motor off you put one hand on the prop and one hand on the netting on a paramotor and try to flex them together.  The harder they are the bring together the less likely the unit is to self destruct when you fall down.  You can see from pictures and video the Flat Top will hold your entire bodyweight on the netting.  The bottom line is the Flat Top is the best designed and engineered unit on the market.

From years of experience we understand many people think differently and not everybody is going to buy just one brand.  If safety and durability are not as big of an issue then we would recommend as our second choice the Kobra line of paramotors.  This is a beautiful unit with much attention to detail.  It offers a slightly different style of hook in and weight shift.  We would highly recommend this unit over any other brand other than the Flat Top as it offers many advantages and improvements in quality.  These are some of the most popular models in europe and many of the top european pilots choose these as their paramotors of choice.  The stainless steel design gives a beautiful asthetic look as well as it is easy to repair and maintain.  Also available with the #1 power plant from Simonini just like the Flat Top the power and noise levels are first rate.  If you are looking for more weight shift and a more paraglider type feel to it then the Kobra would be the place to look.
